Part of this was shot on my campus in Bexley, Ohio.
A friend of mine is an extra and another is a part of the production team. I’m really stoked for this film.

Plus, fellow above-the-title actor Allison Janney, who’s been in a ton of great stuff, like The West Wing and Juno, is from Dayton, Ohio.

The insanely popular sit-com How I Met Your Mother is full of Ohioness.
One of the show’s co-creators, Carter Bays, is from Cleveland, Ohio. Carter did more than help create How I Met Your Mother though. His band performs the theme song and remember that fun song “Nothing Suits Me Like A Suit”? He wrote that and a ton of other things we don’t have space to list here.
The character Ted Mosby, whose hunt for a wife is the premise of the show, is from Shaker Heights, Ohio. This wouldn’t normally warrant a mention here at Fuck Yeah Ohio, but Josh Radnor, who plays Ted, is from Columbus (Bexley), Ohio and I can’t think of a single television character from Ohio who was actually played by an Ohioan since Gordon Jump was on WKRP in Cincinnati.
