Monroe, Ohio’s “King of Kings” statue (aka “Touchdown Jesus”), which was destroyed when it was struck by lightning last June, will be rebuilt — bigger, and looking less like a football referee.

Solid Rock Church administrator Ron Carter is shown demonstrating the design for the new “King of Kings” statue, which will begin being built in May or June.

I can’t be the only one disappointed by the lack of “touchdown” in the new “Touchdown Jesus”.
