There are a few things you should know about Jim Jarmusch, besides the fact that he was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio:
1. Tom Waits says this about him: “The key, I think, to Jim, is that he went gray when he was 15 … As a result, he always felt like an immigrant in the teenage world. He’s been an immigrant – a benign, fascinated foreigner – ever since. And all his films are about that.”
2. He’s made a few movies, including Down by Law, Coffee and Cigarettes, and Broken Flowers.
3. He’s a founding member of The Sons of Lee Marvin.
