Bexley, Ohio housewife Geraldine “Jerrie” Mock became the first woman to fly solo around the world, in 1964.
Say what you will about suburban housewives, but we’re pretty sure this one could take all of us in a fight. The kind of person who just straps a bunch of extra fuel tanks into her Cessna and flies around the entire planet is not someone to trifle with.
