Robert Kurtzman is best known for his special effects and makeup work on more famous horror movies than we can count.

Now, here’s a story I love hearing: Robert Kurtzman left his home in Crestline, Ohio to make his way in Hollywood, BUT THEN he returned to Crestline to do things the way he wanted. That’s right, groundbreaking special effects and makeup has a home right here in the Buckeye state. Robert Kurtzman may very well be my new hero.
