Some things are so commonplace we take them for granted and can’t imagine they’d be any other way, but success works like that. What once was innovative, becomes downright normal. The Kroger Co. offers severals examples of this.
Founded by Bernard Kroger in 1883 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kroger is the home of several grocery chain firsts.
Kroger owns other chains like Fred Meyer, Dillons, Quik Stop, and Ralphs, among many others, so even if you don’t live in Ohio, you’ve probably already shopped at a Kroger.
